Wowly Studios
Connection guide

Connect ChatGPT to Wowly Studios.

ChatGPT supplies the AI. Wowly Studios supplies your approved brand context, content workflow, publishing actions, and analytics.

Before you begin

  • A Wowly Studios account with at least one brand.
  • The Google account used for that Wowly Studios account.
  • A ChatGPT plan and workspace that supports adding remote MCP connections.

1. Add the MCP connection

Open ChatGPT's connection or plugin settings and add the production Wowly Studios MCP endpoint:

https://wowlystudios.com/mcp

ChatGPT will inspect the server, discover the available tools, and start the secure authorization flow when account access is needed.

2. Sign in to Wowly Studios

Choose Google and select the same Google account you use for Wowly Studios. You do not need a separate username or password, and Wowly Studios does not receive your Google password.

3. Approve the connection

Review the requested access and approve the connection. Wowly Studios records the connection and enforces the permissions attached to it on every tool call.

4. Test the read workflow

Start with a low-risk request:

List the Wowly Studios brands I can access, then get the verified context for the primary brand. Do not change anything.

ChatGPT should use brands_list followed by brands_get_context and summarize the returned brand information.

5. Test a draft

Ask ChatGPT to create content using the verified context and save it as a draft. Saving a draft does not publish it. You can then request revisions while Wowly Studios preserves the draft's history.

Publishing requires confirmation

When you ask to publish or schedule, the AI must first show a preview produced by publications_schedule. Only after you approve that exact preview may it call publications_confirm.

Preparing is not publishing. The preview includes the target account, selected content revision, scheduled time, and any warnings. The confirmation token expires and is bound to that preview.

Manage or revoke access

Open the AI Connections portal to review enabled permissions, recent actions, and connection status. Revoking a connection blocks future access. You can also remove the connection from ChatGPT.

Troubleshooting

  • No brands appear: confirm you selected the Google account that owns or can access the brand.
  • Permission denied: enable the required permission in the Connections portal or ask the brand owner.
  • Publishing unavailable: connect an eligible Instagram professional account in Wowly Studios.
  • Login loops: remove the connection in ChatGPT, revoke it in the portal, and connect again.
